2023 Client Work

We often get asked what kind of work we do. Honestly, it’s a pretty big scope. If you’re an organization with a problem to solve, an initiative to launch, or a plan to put in place, we can help. To show some examples, we compiled a breakdown of the types of projects we worked on in 2023. Let’s get into it!

  • Strategic plans

We tackled many this year, and the scope and budget always vary slightly between organizations. We did half-day, full-day, or two-day planning sessions with our clients. 


  • Volunteer recruitment and retention strategy

  • Half-day meeting with provincial representatives

This project included facilitating communication and collaboration among the provinces (this could be applied to departments, units, regions, countries, etc.).

  • New program review

This project included compiling learnings, efficiencies, and development for future program iterations. 

  • Board development meeting and team building

  • Graphic design of existing strategic plan

  • Staff training session

This one included developing a team motto and training staff on communication and conflict problem-solving.

  • Enhancing communication among principals within a school division

  • Mosaic Women’s Retreat

This included delivering training on managing complex change among colleagues and different departments.

  • Vision, mission, and values development

  • Strategic planning information session

For this project, I delivered workshops on strategic planning 101 and on learning how to start a strategic plan.

  • Mentorship program development

  • Team retreat

The retreat included team building and developing a team charter.

  • Strategic plan toolkit development

We created a toolkit for an umbrella organization to provide its chapters with the framework to build their strategic plans. 

  • Action planning

A couple of clients wanted action plans to lay out a roadmap to fulfill their strategic plan. We accomplished this through a one-day session for one client and through a series of virtual sessions for the other. 

  • Policy review

  • Executive manager retreat

This retreat was specifically to help prepare for the client’s annual board retreat.

  • Midway strategic plan review and AGM presentation 

  • Volunteer recruitment progress review

  • Stakeholder feedback and input consultation

  • Municipal government department action planning

  • Effective change management process across provincial school divisions

  • Conference workshop

This was a half-way workshop on building a values-based workday.
